““I have always loved strong drinks, those that burn the lips and set your mouth on fire. For a long time, I was searching for a fiery alcohol-free soft drink to drink on its own and to use as the best mixer ever.
A flying visit to my favourite grocery store made me realise that there were no strong alcohol-free drinks and I decided to redress that terrible injustice by inventing such a beverage myself.
I can still see myself running through Paris looking for Thai spices, African syrups, Chinese roots, Caribbean fruits, Indian peppers, English sodas, Jamaican juices, inventing adventurous recipes, transforming my humble kitchen into a mysterious and magical laboratory.
The perfect trio of ginger, tonic and chilli pepper miracle came to me in a miraculous flash of inspiration one evening. I couldn’t believe my taste buds - my glass was filled with a sexy, fruity and spicy drink, which was both sweet and strong at the same time. Soft like a soda, yet harsh like a spirit.
An incredible discovery that I’ve decided to produce on a larger scale, to help my millions of friends cut down on alcohol, taking a sweet pleasure doing it.
Of course, nothing prevents to use Pimento to strengthen cocktails, with or without alcohol.”

To make a great cocktail, bartenders need good spirits, but above all,
they need good mixers that are going to enhance their flavours.
In fine mixology, only ginger beers do this job.
Mixologists prefer Pimento because its chilli pepper really enhances the flavours of cocktails.
Moreover in a mix, the spirit slightly softens the kick of Pimento - the drink is still hot
and “caliente”, but a little bit gentler on the palate.
In many countries, Pimento is often used to spice-up mocktails and cocktails. Most
famous are Spicy & Stormy (from Dark ’n’ Stormy®), Hot Mule (from Moscow Mule),
Mojito Pimento (replace the sparkling water with Pimento ), Hot Bomb (with a Kräuterlikör),
Spicy Shandy (with a light lager), or Gin & Ginger, also called Italian Mule in Italy.
In a mocktail, the proportion will be the following: 1/3 Pimento, 2/3 fruit(s) juice.
